YouTube
Show your latest videos and email subscribers when you post
Without it: The latest-videos section, the Videos page and new-video emails stay off.
We read your public channel with a free key from your own Google Cloud project. The free daily allowance is far more than a website needs. Once connected we hear about new uploads automatically.
Steps
-
1Create a Google Cloud project
Sign in with any Google account (it does not have to own the channel). Name the project after your website and press Create. No billing account is needed.
-
2Turn on the YouTube Data API v3
Make sure your new project is selected at the top of the page, then press Enable.
-
3Create a key
On Credentials press Create credentials → API key and copy it (it starts with
AIza). Then press Edit API key: under API restrictions choose Restrict key and tick only YouTube Data API v3. Leave Application restrictions on None. Save, and paste the key here.In your dashboard you fill in: YouTube key (starts AIza).
-
4Your channel
Paste your channel's @handle (for example @yourchannel), your channel link, or the channel ID that starts with UC. We look up the ID for you.
In your dashboard you fill in: Your channel (@handle, channel link or UC… id).
-
5Done
Your latest videos now show wherever you add the latest-videos section. Turn on the Videos page or new-video emails when you want them.
In your dashboard: Settings → Connections → YouTube → Set up. Provider steps checked Oct 31, 2026.
