Account and security

Billing, plan changes and cancellation

Manage the platform subscription separately from your customers’ product payments.

Two different payment relationships

You pay the platform subscription for your billing account. Your customers pay for products through your own connected Stripe account. Changing your platform payment method is not a change to the Stripe credentials used for customer sales, and refunding a product order does not cancel your subscription.

Open Billing as the account owner. Review the current plan, effective usage, billing state and any warning before changing plans. Pricing shows the current public offer; your checkout and account screens show the terms applicable to your account.

Manage the subscription

Use the billing controls and the linked customer portal where offered to manage the payment method, invoices and supported subscription changes. Review any proration, renewal date or confirmation shown before submitting. Do not assume an advertised free-start period applies a second time to an existing account.

If access is invitation-only, an access request is not an active subscription. If billing setup is unavailable, contact support rather than entering payment details into an unrelated provider connection form.

Upgrade or downgrade

An upgrade can increase account-wide website/subscriber capacity and per-website capabilities. A downgrade can leave you over several limits at once. Read each usage row and any grace deadline. Extra websites become read-only; marketing can pause above the subscriber allowance; some other overages require reducing usage before enforcement.

Existing pages are kept when a page allowance drops, but new pages can be blocked. Domain count overages are treated differently from losing custom-domain access. Plan ahead before moving to a plan that cannot serve your chosen custom hostname.

Cancellation and restricted states

Follow the cancellation confirmation and effective date shown in Billing. Cancellation, failed payment, website deletion and deleting a subscriber are different actions. Do not rely on one to perform the others. A restricted account may still allow the owner to reach Data for export or deletion while ordinary changes are blocked.

Export what you need before an intentional shutdown and check the Data export and deletion process. For a billing problem, provide the account/website reference and error, not card numbers, CVC, passwords or provider secrets.
