Readable content, PDF and Look inside

Edit readable content

Open a product's content screen. Add titled parts and choose the appropriate front matter, chapter or back matter kind. Write and format content, arrange the order and save. The content is sanitized, and image references must belong to this website.

Use the creator preview to inspect the online reader and PDF. Check chapter order, headings, images, long words and font rendering. Editing content invalidates cached generated PDFs; do not use an old downloaded copy as proof of the latest content.

Reader and PDF delivery

Customers reach the reader and download controls through their product access. Access checks apply even if someone copies a reader URL. Emails link to the site, not to a private file or PDF download endpoint.

A manually uploaded product file and readable chapters are different delivery sources. Test the actual buttons presented for your product. Generated PDF availability depends on successful rendering; if the preview reports an error, fix it before promising the PDF to buyers. A font family not loaded by the website's font configuration may fall back in the PDF.

Add a Look inside section

In the sales-page editor, add Look inside, select a product with readable content and select the pages to expose. The section supports at most six pages. Use Refresh pages to regenerate the preview from the current book and inspect the page map and rendered images.

These selected preview pages are public marketing content. Never include a page that must remain exclusive to buyers. A Look inside section is not a way to make the whole private reader public.

Save and publish the sales page after checking the preview. If the book changes later, review and refresh the selected samples so they still match your offer.

Troubleshooting

Missing pages can mean the selected page no longer exists, the product has no readable content or rendering failed. Check the product preview first, then refresh the Look inside section. If images are absent, reselect this website's media. If layout differs between browser and PDF, check fonts and unsupported formatting before contacting support with a redacted example.
