SEO, consent and legal pages
Set page metadata and review the policies visitors see before you launch.
Set page metadata
Open a page in Pages and set its SEO title, description and social image. Use a specific title and an accurate summary of that page. Save and publish the change, then inspect the public page. Search engines and social networks may retain older previews; their refresh timing is not controlled by the editor.
Do not promise search rankings or assume setting metadata submits a page to a search engine. A page must be public and linked usefully. Keep page addresses stable when you can, especially if you have printed or shared them elsewhere.
Business and legal details
Fill in Settings → Business and legal: legal business name, postal address and the privacy, terms, refunds and disclaimer content relevant to your website. Review any provided legal template before copying and adapting it. A template is a starting point, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance.
Legal page addresses are configurable under page addresses. The main platform's terms cover the platform; they are not a substitute for your own customer-facing policies. Check your website's footer links after editing policies or slugs.
Consent wording
Review sign-up and checkout consent wording and your double opt-in settings. Buying a product and agreeing to marketing are different actions. Do not hide a marketing promise in a receipt or use a product access email as permission for unrelated campaigns.
Marketing checks require appropriate business details and consent conditions. If sending is blocked, resolve the specific message rather than stripping the footer or unsubscribe content. Read Audience and consent.
Cookies and external tracking
Configure the cookie banner and its wording for the tools you actually use. External analytics and advertising pixels have consent implications; switching on a banner alone is not a legal assessment. See Analytics and integrations for the difference between built-in measurement and external scripts.
Before launch, inspect policy pages on the public website and compare the refund wording with the actual product refund window. Ask a qualified adviser when your business or jurisdiction needs it.
