YouTube connection and the Videos page
Bring public channel uploads onto your website with a clear next step.
Connect the channel
Follow the YouTube walkthrough from Settings → Connections. The setup uses your YouTube Data API key and channel ID. A public channel URL is not a replacement for the configured channel ID. Keep provider keys private and check connection health after saving.
The connection supports public-video features; it is not a control for uploading, editing or publishing videos to YouTube. Channel visibility, quota and provider availability still matter.
Enable the Videos page
Open Settings → Videos page on an eligible plan. Choose whether to enable the page and show Shorts, and select the call to action. The CTA is a single selected product used under videos, not an individual per-video editor. A free product offers its sign-up journey; a paid product uses its product/Buy presentation. An optional destination can route a paid CTA to a page instead of straight to checkout.
Choose a published product and verify the landing page. Do not enable a video CTA to a product that is not ready for customers.
Wait for the import
Enabling queues the channel's upload backfill and ensures update subscriptions are active. The Videos menu link appears with the first public video. Use the progress/status information rather than assuming an empty first view is permanent failure. Import again restarts the backfill from newest uploads without intentionally duplicating the library.
Disabling removes the menu link and the public video pages return not found. Update subscriptions are no longer needed when both Videos and new-video emails are off. This does not delete your YouTube channel or alter videos on YouTube.
Troubleshooting
If nothing appears, verify the configured channel, key, quota, public uploads and import state. Check Shorts visibility separately. If the CTA is absent, check the selected product's publication and eligibility.
The Videos page and New-video emails are independent switches. Showing a video on your site does not mean it has been emailed, and importing old uploads does not mean old videos will be broadcast to subscribers.
