Write, test and schedule a broadcast
Send a deliberate campaign to an eligible, deduplicated audience.
Prepare delivery first
Complete Resend setup, verify sender addresses and business details and check the website's account state and subscriber cap. Platform email limits and the limits on your own Resend account both apply. A working connection does not remove the provider's quota or guarantee inbox placement.
Compose and target
Open Broadcasts, create a draft and enter the subject, preheader and body. Link to site pages rather than private files. Review personalization variables using the editor's supported choices and inspect every destination.
Choose everyone subscribed, a tag, or include lists with optional exclude lists. The list audience shows a deduplicated recipient count. Review exclusions as carefully as inclusions: a contact in multiple lists should not receive multiple copies, and membership never overrides unsubscribe or suppression.
Test without sending to the list
Save the draft, then use the test-send action. It sends to the signed-in creator's address, not an arbitrary audience. A test is a real email. Inspect layout, links, signature, subject and mobile readability in your inbox.
A successful test does not prove the final audience is eligible or that your provider has quota for the entire campaign. Check the send count and warnings again before the real action.
Send now or schedule
Use the composer's explicit Send now or Schedule action only when ready. Scheduling uses the website timezone, so set it before choosing the time. A scheduled broadcast that has not started can be returned to draft; this is not a recall of messages already delivered.
Watch the broadcast's statistics afterward. Delivered, opened and clicked are different measurements; privacy tools can affect open and click interpretation. Check bounces and complaints instead of retrying a suppressed recipient repeatedly.
Why sending is blocked
Marketing can be refused for missing legal details, restricted billing state, subscriber-cap overage or provider problems. Follow the plain-language reason. Repeatedly pressing Send is not a remedy for a connection or consent failure. For automatic follow-up use Sequences, not a series of manually duplicated broadcasts.
