Email templates and signatures
Reuse consistent content while keeping page links and required email information intact.
Reusable templates
Use Email templates for content reused by sequences and supported system journeys. Set a descriptive internal name, subject, preheader and body. Keep the customer-facing wording accurate for the trigger that will send it.
Use the variables offered by the editor in their intended context. A review URL needs the relevant product/customer context, for example; copying a finished customer's link into a reusable template is unsafe. Do not insert direct file or download links. Send people to a page where access is checked.
Configure your signature
Open Settings → Email → Email signature. Use the preview to configure your image, image alternative text, name, title, website and YouTube links, plus an optional call-to-action label and address. The signature card has no email or phone fields; do not assume a template screenshot represents editable controls beyond those shown.
Signature HTML is sanitized like other email content. Use supported formatting and safe page links rather than scripts, forms or embedded files. An image should be public and appropriate to show to every recipient who receives that signature.
Choose where it appears
Marketing, transactional and help-desk signatures can be enabled separately. A sequence email step can omit the signature where the builder offers that choice. Review the actual email type before changing a global setting just to fix one message.
A signature is not a replacement for required business details, consent wording or unsubscribe information. Keep those configured even if your signature includes your business name.
Verify the result
Save and send a deliberate test to your own inbox from the relevant email workflow. Check small screens, image loading and every link. Email clients can block images or change styling, so important meaning must survive without the portrait or decorative formatting.
If a signature is absent, check the toggle for that message type and any per-step omission before changing the HTML. If a link or formatting disappears, inspect the validation message: unsafe links and unsupported HTML are intentionally removed.
